The hard part
A diamond is not a SKU. Every stone is unique across nine graded attributes, so inventory, pricing and search all had to work against a description rather than an identifier.
What it costs to be wrong
A stone matched to the wrong specification is an order shipped against a grade the buyer did not purchase, discovered by the buyer.

- Stones graded across cut, colour, clarity, shape, polish, symmetry and fluorescence
- Inventory with per-item activity history and location tracking
- Order capture against customer and company records
- Spreadsheet import and export for trade exchange
